Layering

 Agility Workshop with Kristie

Layering is an agility handling technique in which there is an obstacle that the dog shouldn't perform “layered” between the handler and the dog. This technique requires the dog to work at a distance from the handler, and for the handler to appropriately cue the desired behavior/obstacle to the dog.

In this workshop, participants will learn to use physical and verbal cues to keep dogs on their path to take the correct obstacle, even when separated from the handler.
