There are several dogs we help in our inital fundraiser in 2012, through your generous donations.
Cloud, for whom the fundraiser idea was initially formed, did receive the very involved nasal surgery that he needed to survive. Cloud did very well for the first 8 months post surgery. Then to our dismay the nasal fungal infections returned, Cloud was treated several more times and enjoyed his family for quite a while longer. Unfortunaelty Cloud did succum to the infections in 2014. His human and canine family miss him deeply. He has changed all of our lives forever.
Dr. Watson had several surgeries that have greatly improved his quality of life, he is a happy playful guy again.
Vance underwent liver surgery at Tufts but unfortunately was not able to survive post surgery, he is greatly missed by all who knew him.
"Our Dog's" fund was also able to help several other client's dogs 2012-2013 including Payton. She needed urgent surgery to survive an unexpected illness. We are happy to report that she and all dogs are doing great and are able to live full normal lives today because of your help.
This past year through your donations we have helped 3 more dogs with their medical needs.
Buddha, was in need of a tumor removal, we were able to give financial and emotionl support to his family. Fortunately the tumor was benign and today Buddha is doing great.
Stella needed an emergency tooth removal due to a deep infection. With quick action and financial support the tooth was removed and Stella is back to her normal happy self.
Sade hadn't been herself for a few weeks, after a visit to her local veterinarian Sade's owner still did not have much information to go on. An ultrasound was suggested but not urged, through our emotional and financial support Sade got the much needed ultrasound the next day. The results were not good, Sade was bleeding from her spleen. Now her owner had the information she needed to make Sade comfortable for her remaining days. Sade is greatly missed by us all.
